Hi, I am Westray.
Who remembers Eckerd Drugs? Well that's where my love of photography started. I was head cashier for the entire store at age 17 when a position in the Photo Lab opened up so I asked to be transferred. This was way before the digital age of printing from your computer or phone. The client would turn in the Kodak roll and we would "develop" it. From then on I was obsessed with taking photos. Then when we moved to Guadalajara, Mexico for 2 years where I took my first photography class. There I learned how to use the camera properly and out of the automatic setting. My love for photography continued especially as we traveled. In 2011, I was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer so I decided to make my hobby into taking photos for family and friends. Here we are 9 years later and I continue to do so. I love creating for others and hearing how much people are thankful for documenting their memories. It has been a real blessing to do what I love.
